Showing will take place at The Chocolate Factory Theater, 38-33 24th Street, Long Island City.

Incubations is an evening of three works-in-progress by writer-performance artist-filmmaker Andrea Kleine: The Life of A Rabbit (a book), A Tree Eats A Rock (a performance), and We Want To Be Ready (a microbudget feature film). Each piece is about nature and personal horrors and the weirdness of performing and the ways we live in the clouds. Maybe they are all the same piece.

This event is made possible by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature. A Tree Eats A Rock was developed in part during a Baryshnikov Arts Residency, taking place at Baryshnikov Arts Center, New York, NY.
