In 35 1/2, three performers grapple with opposites, which aren’t really opposites. They play with dancing + thinking, writing + reading, analyzing + immersing, performing + being. They are organized by structure, uncreativity, pleasure, modesty, excess, and focus. Life enters in.

The experience of 35 1/2 will be deeply shaped by the contributions of Vandenbroucke’s performance and design collaborators, who were chosen for their own passions, and differences, in relation to intellectual adventuring and full bodied art-making.
